We should see a bunch sprint today, but with numerous small climbs on the way there’s not only an interesting KoM fight incoming but also a chance that not all sprinters will arrive at the line in the first group.

Only two riders try their luck today: white jersey pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Micros/lph.png Aguilar Mendez, who could take the GC lead with just 7 bonus seconds but has no climbing abilities whatsoever, and pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Micros/snz.png Marryatt, who’s just that one second too far behind to fight for yellow but should have an easy day claiming the KoM jersey if they’re not joined by someone else.

The Mexican is now trailing 24 to 32, but his real goal is probably to make it to the last intermediate sprint 10 km from now. He only has a minute to the peloton though.
