Guess none of our guys had good legs today.
Awesome stage though. Very cool report, thanks Heine!
Great win for Aker, congrats ember!

Thanks for an awesome report, Heine! And congrats to both tastasol for the stage and ember for the overall win! Anderberg is really among the top dogs on this terrain now.
Zepuntke in 9th is all we could ask form achieving a season goal. We should end up with 100+ points too, making this the fourth race of the month above this threshold. But from a tactical point of view it wasn't the smartest choice to send Louvel as our top lieutenant into the break in a stage that's famously all about attrition.

Sensational stuff from Anderberg to get the overall win
Super happy about that, and also the way he won it. First Stokbro being super strong and likely absolute key, being the longest standing domestique in the group of favourites. And then Anderberg attacking, which I must admit I thought would give him a solo win, seeing the gap that formed When he then got caught, and him and Pedersen coming to a stand still, I feared Per would catch up, but luckily they were just strong enough to avoid it, and thus secure the overall win.
Massive, massive win for us and Anderberg, and also a great statement after his training. Hopefully it means he gets a key role to play for the cobbled season. At least I hope this is his new standard, and not his E3 performance.
Thank you for the report, Heine! Definitely looked like a proper cobbled race. And also thank you everyone for your congratulations messages. |

I guessed Ember would be happy about this one Congrats!
It was more awesome just watching as it raced (even with all the pauses for screenshots). I hoped I managed to do it just a bit of fairness
Results from the competition will be out tomorrow when I find some time

Anderberg!!! Congrats ember, love to see the investment pay off here!
10th for Ovsya is pretty okay i'd say. Not bad, not great, about what i could expect here with how tough that second stage looks... Neilands also fairly solid. I can live with this result well even if its nothing special. Other races are more suited to unexpected overperformances for us.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

GC ruined by a puncture
Has the defending PT champion ever relegated before? That stat might become relevant if we keep performing like this
Congrats ember!

So, lets head to the most important competition here, who cares about the race and just some points? What we really want is glory
First and foremost, here are the correct answers:
| Question | Correct answers | | 1 | 3 | | 2 | 2 | | 3 | Anderberg | | 4 | No | | 5 | Girmay | | 6 | 12 | | 7 | Grieg | | 8 | Polanc | | 9 | Yes | | 10 | Per | | Bonus | 55 |
And some fun facts / stats:
Gustavvoskiy was just 1 place of on GVK's position! Well guessed!
Noone had questions 1 right (3 guys on st on stage 1). KB was closes with his answer of 4
Noone had question 4 right. Everyone answered that the winner would win 1 stage, but Anderberg decided that the GC was more important than stage wins
16 of 17 participants was right that Girmay would win the youth competition
3 managers guessed that Anderberg would win (Ember, UU and Sammy)
2 managers was right that 12 riders would finish outside of 1h10min on stage 2 (Whitejersey and Seancoll)
Per managing to get green by 1 point gave 4 managers right on question 10
And as we already know only Knockout guessed Polanc on question 8
So, Knockout lead after stage 1, how did it end? The winner had 5 points. Another congratulation to Ember! He takes the double here as the only manager with 5 points! He had Anderberg winning, 2 riders on st on stage 2, Girmay winning youth jersey, Grieg winning the team compeition and he had rain!
4 managers had 4 points, and Ulrich Ulriksen being only 4 places off GVKs finish seals 2nd place, with Whitejersey only 10 places of takes 3rd!

Quite some master piece by Van Hooydonck there. Never giving up, always active, exactly what is needed by him.
Unfortuately not enough gaps on stage 1 but then being up there with the best on the important day.
6th in GC is fine, even though this is basically last of the best here with the gaps opening a lot afterwards.
Thanks for the reports! |

7th is not that good, but within the realms of expectation. We mainly botched the 1st stage which should be better for us on paper. We got a bit of scoring outside of Siric which is better than nothing, usually we get nothing.
Congrats to Ember and thanks to Heine for the reports. Hopefully next time you can also order the U25 results.

Congrats, ember!
Guess the decline hit Gerts slightly more that I was hoping, but it's still not a bad result. Van Den Berg doing much better than usual also makes up for Gerts' decline.
Thanks for the reports!
