Your still talking around the point I was making...

Perhaps I should do like you and just cherry pick what I'm going to answer to and ignore the rest like it isn't even there. Shall I do that, then? Pfft

Then what is this:

Now can we please stop with the stupid nationalistic generalizations that are not only wrong, but also insulting? (I'm not even from any of the countries named and I'm insulted by the stupidity)

and this:

If Valverde and Gesink had switched places these guys wouldn't have said a thing.

Now they're going to flame me, but I honestly don't care anymore. See ya.

It's that you people keep saying "oh it's the spanish it's the spanish", etc. but when the situation is reversed you're silent like mice Wink

... which you illustrate by saying this.

That makes absolutely no sense.

Oh well.

I'll come back to this topic tomorrow or whatever. You've proven quite a lot of times you can't be objective when dutchmen are involved larsie.[/quote]

Want me to start saying Joao as well?

I don't see where I 'cherry picked' while you're doing it multple times(as well or not). Don't start blaming me for such a thing.

This escalated quite a bit - I don't even see where we started this, at what point I was 100% sure you where wrong and I was right. Objectivly.

I might just suck at discussions / arguments. Especially with a foreign language involved. This aint going nowhere.

You're clearly all biased! Everyone from the same country is helping the others, except for the Swedes Pfft (only one Swede in the race, or "we" would too...)

Seriously, though, Valverde looked more irritated than helped by the pushes he got. The Swedish commentator was really pissed at the spectators.

I honestly don't see what all the fuss is about, riders helping each other out has happened for years - I remember Stephen Roche recruiting his old ACBB mates (Robert Millar and Phil Anderson) in the 1987 Giro to help him after he lost the support of the rest of his team for attacking his team leader. I know that theoretically it shouldn't happen, but it does!

Anyway, personally I didn't see anything wrong with the actions of Sanchez or Mosquera yesterday, all I saw was a really exciting stage! Smile

Basso announced he has not given up yet and will attack until the end.

By the way, this might be a good explanation why Hoogerland climbs so well:

Weight at Tour of Flanders: 72kg
Weight at Vuelta...: 65 kg (!!!!)

combined with the fact that he was always good on ardennais and flanders type hills... makes him a more than reasonable climber at this weight

Sánchez, Evans, Gesink and Mosquera tried to get into the day's break. Needless to say, they were brought back.

Not exactly, the peloton just split up in 3 parts due to a downhill early in the race. Valverde was riding too much in the back and was caught in the second group Wink

60 km to go and 12 minutes advantage for breakaway.
Mathieu Ladagnous (Fran├žaise des Jeux), Maxim Iglinsky (Astana), Lars Boom (Rabobank), Dominik Roels (Milram), Seraf├şn Mart├şnez (Xacobeo Galicia), Christian Meier (Garmin-Slipstream), Leonardo Duque (Cofidis), Vicente Reynes (Columbia-HTC), Alexandr Kolobnev (Saxo Bank), Alexander Efimkin (AG2R La Mondiale), Martin Velits (Milram), David Herrero (Xacobeo Galicia) and Olivier Kaisen (Silence-Lotto).

Who will be winner? I bet on Duque..
