Just three races for us in this update, but that was enough to claw us out of the relegation spots. We didn't start well as our result in Riga was very average. Gasper Katrasnik has been the nearly man in one too many of the flat classics. But it was all about the final Grand Tour of the year for us, the Tour de France.
For the first time in months it felt like things finally clicked. Dusan Rajovic made full use of the sprint heavy opening week to score his and the team's first Le Tour stage victory. Tadej Pogacar quickly followed up with two stage podium before he himself got off the mark. The rest of the race was a bit slower for us, but Tadej with solid team support was able to finish 4th overall and Santiago Buitrago got a 2nd place stage finish and spent most of the race 2nd in the U25 classification. In total we were able to crack the 1000 point mark and bring home a sponsor goal. In the end a very satisfying way to wrap up the traditional stage racing season.
We finished the month at home, at the Tour of Slovenia. One last chance for Tao Geoghegan-Hart to improve on his very mediocre season. Luckily he was able to do just that with a 4th place in GC, which realistically was probably the best possible outcome. The depth behind him wasn't that good, but overall another positive race that placed us 15th in the end of month rankings. We have a few more potentially high scoring races left and some where we expect to score very little. But we've got a fighting chance to stay in the Pro Tour for one more year!

A single day in the breakaway was enough for Daniel Hoelgaard to win the KOM
Martin Hvastija:
This is definitely a contender for race of the year for us. Steven Lammertink had one of his better days on the TT bike, paired with Michael Christodoulos also finishing in the overall top 10. And without a sprinter Daniel Hoelgaard went on the attack to score just enough KOM points to win the classification. We felt like we did everything we could have done here.

It's always a question how a rider will do after a long period without races, but we have to say Ivan was as well prepared as possible. There were lots of attacks going up the road and it's difficult to judge whether joining them or staying in the group is the right decision. Everything worked out well and he was able to sprint to a very good 6th place finish.

You seem to keep a steady flow of points after that awesome Tour de France of yours. Must admit I was a bit worried when seeing most leaders with 0 racedays left, but Siric, Lammertink and Christodoulos seems to nick a good amount of points for you.
It's starting to look pretty good, although Grieg and Vesuvio scoring very well lately to put a bit of pressure on you.

I agree, I would have been in quite a bit of trouble if I didn't follow up Le Tour with these last few high scoring races.

It's hard to predict if we really have anyone that could impact the GC of this race. On the other hand I think targeting stage results and perhaps getting into some breakaways should be a realistic expectation.

Two great races from the team! Awesome to see a 10/10 score in Deutschland. Lets see if the team can make an impact in ToNE.

One of the rare 10/10s this season
I think I should be good, but hopefully I don't jinx it!

As we suspected we didn't have a good option for the GC here. Hoelgaard finished 28th overall which is a fine outcome. We had to score points via stage results and breakaways. Rajovic only had a single top 10 result, but Lammertink managed a 2nd place in the time-trial and then young Riley Sheehan went in the breakaway on stage 6 and secured the KOM jersey. A good performance and a good learning experience for when we're back here again.
