CT Draft Discussion [8pm BST]
sammyt93
Cisse is a nice find for a leadout rider, and his backups are better than Guillen so he makes a nice plan B if his leader gets dropped before the finish.

Would have loved to see someone pick up Tilen Finkst.
Maxes at 76fl 68hi 76cb 72sp 70acc.

Horton or Mansilla would have been two picks id like from an evonik perspective amd both could be quite useful for one more year.

Faerk christensen 77fl 76tt is a massiv surprise to be without a team to me.
A Big Thank You To All MG And ICL Reporters!

Who is Curry's agent? I need him to represent me

The best thing I can say about Curry is he's an extra body for L'Avenir and levels up just from that.

OMV Petrom have obviously been digging very deep into the DB, have they unearthed some hidden gold here with Onur Balkan? We are not so sure, some things to like, but the sum may be worse than its parts rather than better.

From Stagiare last year, to the final draft rider this year. His brother is in the PT, and Kristian Aasvold will now ride for Tryg Insurance Cycling Team.

Perfect for an amateur team to take Smile

As I said earlier, I would have had him at around 10th on my list, but I forgot to move him down, when finalising it. Stupid mistake, but oh well...

Good good. My targets (should I get an amateur team) are still there! Guillen would have been nice though!

Surprised no-one took Olman at 78TT for the TTT depth, probably not interesting for an amateur team but he would have been a good addition for one of the TT focussed CT teams.

Nice to see Cisse get another shot here, a poor season with us at WCC was perhaps more a reflection of the limitaiton of the 'lead' sprinters he was forced to work for than his own individual ability. A rider well-suited to CT racing I think.

Given that I don't think Centovalli - Fiat have a lead-sprinter on their roster, Issiaka may get a chance to make a name for himself with a surprise podium here-and-there.

No Othman this year Sad

Did a nice job supporting Pibernik and scoring himself with his 76 HIL, 76 ACC.

I did all the possible Curry related jokes I could think of last year to deride James's signing. Not going to regurgitate them all here in front of everyone, bad enough that Glanbia Foods Cycling Project have themselves. Clean up at table 2 please! Pfft

Wait, Curry to a side with Foods in it's name? Maybe the manager was inviting the food puns to come all season long

Just realised that I've missed the fact that Centovalli took Guillen in the 1st round, so looks like back to the day job as lead-out for a potentially dodgy sprinter for Cisse - obviously JAC hasn't left Cisse completely battle-scarred from his 2018 experiences Pfft. Maybe his manager will keep the two of them apart on separate race programmes - another story that only time and the MG reporting gods will tell.

Home from the football to see Nzeke on board which makes me happy. A target from my La Poste Gabonaise days which is all good for me.

So really good picks made by everyone. Some surprises and some clear domestiques (myself included)

Now let's see what scraps are left the for amateurs

Some interesting choices there - of my top 40 remaining targets after transfers (all bar one being unmaxed) only two of them were selected, but they were numbers 3 and 4 on my list, Rickaert and Andersson respectively. The former was actually a rider I planned to sign before the Zhupa deal, so nice to see him being picked up Smile

seems there still a lot of talent left for Amateur teams, really hope I get picked, as it looks to be tons of fun "battling for scraps"
