Message of Importance

Also, it's time to determine your level of interest. It all depends on you how you follow your rider and his progress. Those who don't want to spend too much time cooking up plans, you can send me a general plan for the rider, for the entire season if you want. You can always change it later on.

You can always give individual orders for every race, too. It's your rider, so all up to you. If you don't give any consignees, I'll control your rider as to my own ability. The amount of attacking is then determined by his FIGHTER stat.

With only 3 schedules missing, I have already assigned riders to the first two races:

Tour of San Luis

GP Marseilles

De las Campos

And then one more rule. If you send in tactics, questions, whatever, please include your rider's name.
Well nice idea, but i think you should give us a role in each race so we can decide a good tactic for the team and not only for our rider. Plus i think would be nice if the team talk about the tactic for the race aswell.
Ian Butler
Great idea. For every race I'll give the DS orders. You can work from that, either by putting your heads together or give me individual orders Smile

Also remember, I'm still working on the achievements. I will probably replace some achievements by KoM jerseys and Points Jerseys!

Word from DS: San Luis

Considering it's the first race of the year, I expect the team to ride aggressively and show the new jersey to the world. I appoint Coutinho as race leader for the GC. The rest is there in a helping role, either by protecting, riding or attacking.

Word from DS: Marseilleis

Perez, Gomes and Zoli are shared leaders. We will try to make the race by attacking. All the others are either here to protect the leaders or to attack and put other teams to work.

Hmm... I don't open season on January Smile I guess me for San Luis but this is good.
Hi Ian,

I was just thinking. Once you have received all the schedules...perhaps a good idea to start the story as a new thread.

This way for the very 1st post you can put up the team on there along with there stats...when you update the stats off each rider everyone can then see the progress. It also gives us an easy go to point to see our team mates and who we may wish to protect etc with our race tactics.

Obviously up to you but just think it gives you a fresh base to work the story from and keeps it cleaner and tidier to navigate around.
Rui Castelo

owen10ozzy - Sorry, not a real fan of that. I don't want to mess up the PCM13 story section. I will edit the first post, however, with the riders and the calendar of the first season later on.

baia - Noted. Though as your DS I must say I will probably change that program as I see it fit, but I will take it into consideration Wink

Word from DS: 2013

I know many of you are waiting for it: the 2013 calendar. But the truth is, being a ProConti team, our calendar needs constant adjustment. Due to financial problems and not being able to hire a secretary, I will only inform you of upcoming races a week before it starts. Terribly sorry about that. You'll all have to work hard and keep on your toes, be ready at any time. Think you can live with that?

FIRST POINTS HAVE BEEN EARNED. Expect the report later tonight.

Also, for people sending in tactics. I decided to try and do it "realistically". During the race I will use the riders as I see fit as a DS. As a rider, you can ask permission to attack in a certain race. Depending on the team's agenda, I will allow this or not. Agreed? Or do you think that's stupid? Pfft

You can do it...Wink
I wish to attack in every race If i lost too much time.

Tour de San Luis - Stage 1

Our boys came in action today! Countinho, Lora, Ballack, Totti, Castelo and Rocha came to Argentina to race in the Tour de San Luis.

As a newly formed team, we want publicity. Lora understood this and sped away like a rocket. It took more than hour to do it, but in the end he broke away with 3 companions.

Even better as we noticed there was no fast man among the breakaway companions. Lora won both intermediate sprints!

With a technical finish and the peloton slowing down, Totti, our Italian born fighter, tried to sneak away. Great riding from the team today! With 10 km left to go, we had a chance at victory!

After a spectacular 10 kilometer solo, he got caught 50 meters before the finish line, still finishing third. Brilliant attempt, but Van Hummel wins today. Rocha, our sprinter here, was badly positioned and no match for the Dutch man's speed.

And extra publicity!

This is not unimportant in a Spanish-speaking country. We came here to get results, and we won't leave until we get them! Good job, team.

Message from the DS

@Coutinho - I know you listed the Tour of San Luis as a secondary objective, but your form does not seem good. I hope it progresses in the next few days.

Finished 1st Race (+1 FL, +1 STA

Great start for the team. Good publicity too for leading in -25 Classification. Smile
Good job Totti and coach.

Ian like this style every racer have great attributes last of the season maybe you can divide four and add that style.
So every racer develop more slowly and realistic.
I hope you can understand my writing.
My Englishhh!!!!!!
Nice to see Navarro Lora in the break, and a wonderful start with the young riders jersey! Smile

Btw, to get the accessories work properly, you'll need shoes as well. Here you go:

Katusha - I see what you mean. We'll see how it pans out, first Wink

anderspcm - Oh yeah, great! Thanks!
Ian Butler

I've updates the achievements, making it much harder and longer to grow stronger. My system was indeed based on a single season, whereas this system works better in the long run. Mostly numbers have been enlarged.

For example:
Win 1 sprint ---> stays the same
Win 5 sprints ---> Win 10 sprints
Win 10 sprints -----> Win 25 sprints

You get the picture. Hope you all agree!

You can download it here. In the 2nd tab, you see my system of noting what riders have achieved what so far!
