He was a strong outsider then.... And was a favorite in the 05 tour also, but had a free role with kloden and ulle. And was always a outsider!

Acording to Ligget he was.....
Ligget still think Lance has got a good chance at winning Tour de France, so you can't take what he say seriously.
in 99 he won Vuelta Ciclista a la Communidad Valenciana
and Dauphine. So he could easy do a top 10.
I guess he couldn't, because he finished 35. and gained half an hour by going with early breakaways. Without those 30 minutes he would've finished in 50. place. |

Conta, why do you hate vino so much?
You admit that all the pro's dope and it become more fun, and he had some top 10 plassings in 99 tour

Because he was what got me in to cycling at 2003 when he won the gap stage where beloki crashed. And it's good for me to have him back, though you dont want him back, but that is to each person to decide, he got a attacking style and never gives up.

He is a fun rider to watch, saw him win a stage in a italian race. So i dont care if he doped or keep doping, he was one of the only who could chalenge Conta.
Every one deserves a second chance.

Well someone like Millar deserves a 2nd chance but Ricco does not. I'll admit I really liked him before but now I cant stand him. Sure he's exciting but he just doesn't deserve it. They should give Ricco the Pfanberger treatment.

Where have I ever said I hate him? I'm just trying to be realistic.

I disagree. Ricco actually is one of the most honest riders in the peloton. I must say I prefer an honest douchebag like Ricco rather than the narcissistic hypocrites who get suspended, claim they're sorry and will never use drugs again, just to come back just as jacked as when they left. At least Ricco has got the courage to say he's not sorry. |

I'm sorry, you must have misunderstood me.
It wasn't a stab at Millar, in fact I wasn't referring to him at all. It was your comment about Ricco I was answering, not the one about Millar. |

Finaly someone who has the same opinion. Yes, Ricco is one of the most honest riders in the peleton. And he is in fact my favorite rider after Vino and Kascheskin. Doping have always been a part of cycling and will continue to be, you simply cant stop it. Ricco say it how it is, and that earns tons of respect from me!
