Yes, you read right -- a save game from 2017. The world has been taken over by a bunch of new riders, although we still have a few "known" riders left such as Cancellara, Dekker and Boasson Hagen.
The manager has led Team CSC ever since 2007, and together they have managed to win pretty much everything. In 2017, Danish super star Kim V. Camara has won the Amstel Gold Race, and Mauricio Officisio has secured a 6th place in the Giro 'd Italia. Now, it's time for the 2017-edition of Tour de France.
The rest of the season is very important. The current manager has not managed to complete the goals in Milan - San Remo and Liege - Bastogne - Liege. You need to get some good results in the remaining sponsor goals - Tour de France, Vattenfall Cyclassics and Vuelta a Espana.
Important information:
Since the save game is in 2017, there's a whole lot of information stored in the save game. This means that it's remarkably slower than normally, and especially on the 1st of July and the 1st of January it will take between 5 and 10 minutes (maybe longer) to proceed to the following day.
The used database is the PCMGeeks 2007 No Dope database. For optimal gameplay, it's recommended to download and install the database. However, it's possible to play the DB without it.
